Austin's premiere pop-inspired, funk-driven, Dixieland-based nine- piece brass band, The Urban Achievers play a mix of traditional and contemporary New Orleans brass band music fused with ten-gallon Texas sensibilities, along with an ever-increasing selection of original tunes and arrangements of radio hits. They have been shaking hips in and around Austin, TX since April 2012 and have amassed a solid fan base that grows a little larger each day.
